“I was encouraged to start my own business by my friend and mentor, Devon E. Hudson, a highly successful developer and State Farm agent in South Dekalb. Much like Labron James, Devon has a passion for helping and guiding other black entrepreneurs to follow their dreams of owning a successful business.  Drummer Imports Service and Sales Center (Drummer Imports) was established out of necessity. Prior to opening Drummer Imports, the then thriving Mercedes Benz dealership in Decatur relocated to north Georgia.  Subsequently, this left my community of Mercedes vehicle owners without a reliable, dependable, and convenience service center. I viewed this as an opportunity to fill a gap.  We celebrate our 20th anniversary in September of 2022 and I couldn’t be more proud of what we have accomplished.  Word of mouth about our superior service and exceeding customer expectations has been our sole driver of obtaining new customers. We treat each customer’s vehicle in the same way we treat our own.”
